In continuation of my Despatch No. 322 of the

6th. of September, I have the honour to transmit the enclosed

summary of piracies and robberies reported in the Chinese Press as

having taken place in the Province of Kuangtung during the month of

September. I also enclose summary of three reports made to this

Government of piratical attacks which took place outside the

jurisdiction of the Colony.
